There is a five minute sample of the DVD at: http://www.realpeopleshistory.com/dvd-sample/ that offers a preview of the documentary. If the samples are any indication this DVD is a must-have for educators and history buffs interested in the WWII history, specifically those who served from Brantford, Brant County and the Six Nations.

This is both a wonderful and important event, a rare opportunity to thank the veterans that ensured Canada’s sovereignty and served our nation with honour, pride and selfless dedication. We owe a debt of gratitude to the men and women who gave of themselves so that we could enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted today.

As an armed forces brat I hold all veterans in high esteem. The St. George War Memorial honours our community’s quiet heroes. I am pleased to see it is maintained with respect and pride.
